About the Foundation

Rooted in people.

Mission & Vision

What drives
the work.

Our Mission

To preserve India's rich cultural heritage by empowering artists with recognition and platforms, making education and skill-building accessible to women and youth, ensuring sustainable livelihood opportunities, and delivering essential healthcare services to every doorstep.

Our Vision

An inclusive, empowered and culturally vibrant India — where every individual, regardless of background, has equal access to education, livelihood opportunities, quality healthcare and cultural identity; where traditional knowledge is preserved, women and youth are self-reliant, and communities thrive with dignity and purpose.

How we create change

Integrated development,
one community at a time.

Culture

Preserving and promoting Indian art, culture and heritage — including our flagship festival, Kala Mahakumbh 2025, which brought together artists and artisans from 76 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Education

Making education and skill-building accessible to women and youth, so learning becomes the foundation of self-reliance.

Livelihood

Supporting artisans, Self-Help Groups and small entrepreneurs with platforms, marketplaces and opportunities to grow.

Health

Working towards essential healthcare services reaching every doorstep, especially for the underserved.

Governance

Accountable
leadership.

The Foundation is led by its Founder, S.K. Dwivedi (Industrialist & Social Worker), and Padma Shri Sculptor Adwaita Charan Gadanayak (President) — formerly Director General, National Gallery of Modern Art, and Vice President, ICCR.

An Advisory Committee of distinguished citizens — including former Chief Justice and High Court judges, senior retired officers of the Armed Forces, IPS, IRTS, BSF, ONGC and the judiciary — guides the Foundation's strategy and standards.

An Executive Committee of professionals from the arts, law, technology and social sectors drives day-to-day programmes. Meet the full team.
